New Beginnings

Just a week before their first child was due, my friends Amna and Asad asked me to capture their maternity shoot. Living in Etobicoke, Amna chose the nearby Old Erin Mills as the location. Though it was a windy January day, what seemed like a challenge at first turned into a fantastic experience. We found a charming spot near the doors and alternated between shooting and warming our hands. The grey bricks and the cool winter sky created a perfect harmony, resulting in a beautifully aesthetic shoot.
